Ever the multi-tasking powerhouse, Matt has also produced for some of the world's most respected labels, from Soulfuric to Peppermint Jam, in addition to Germany's pioneering house label, Realbasic Recordings, with production partner Shik Stylko, formed by German duo Sebastian Krieg and Roman Freihoff. Shik Stylko's characteristic style of house, tribal and electro sound with funky and soulful roots have fixed them as one of the most respected DJ Duos in the house scene. They have travelled the world for gigs in Ibiza, Hong Kong, Moscow, Miami, Zurich, and all over Germany. Over the years they have produced dancefloor hits including 'Groove you out tonight', featuring House legend Tyree Cooper and L'Afreaque, which was licensed to compilations released on Defected, Ministry of Sound, Mn2s, Om, Bargrooves and Azuli. CD2 - Darkroom Boogie session mixed by Vinnie Q and David J The brainchild of KEE Club resident DJs Vinnie Q and David J, Darkroom Boogie session is the official Friday residency at KEE Club, and has been headlining the weekend party soundtrack for the city's groovy revelers and House music aficionados since its launch in late 2005. As Chief Resident and Music Director at KEE Club since it opened in 2001, DJ Vinnie Q has been raising the bar in the local music scene with his genre-spanning sets, and by giving the people what they want by bringing in some of the world's most revered DJs, from Gilles Peterson and Bugz in the Attic, to Martin Solveig, Jazzanova, and Peter Kruder of Kruder & Dorfmeister. Before David J became a resident at KEE Club and Drop, he was a pioneering figure in the Manila party scene and has been shaking up the dancefloors since the late 90s with his signature uplifting House and progressive sets at Club Renaissance, Republic of Malate, Embassy and other leading establishments in Manila, in addition to regular stints at The Funky Room at Pacha, Ibiza. For Darkroom Boogie session, Vinnie Q and David J join forces and use their unique blend of experiences and influences as a launching pad for an exploration into the depths of dubby, underground house, peppered with Latin rhythms, splashes of old-school and broody tribal beats.
